joINT. is an online literary outlet seeking work from artists throughout the African diaspora. We seek work from the margins of Afro-diasporic experience including, but not limited to: those perspectives that engage the complexities of ability, gender identity & sex, race, class, and religion, among others. We understand that Blackness is no monolith, whether interpreted through a global or local/indigenous lens. We're here for the conversation. African / Afro- / Black - identifying artists are welcomed to submit their best work.
Our journal is funded through donations. We pay our contributors. Currently, our editors manage the journal on a volunteer basis. We're working to change that. We also believe that artists also deserve more than moral support. At the risk of commodifying something as transcendent and nourishing as fine art we ask that, if you appreciate what you see, you would please consider a financial contribution.

We are incredibly grateful to our tribe who extended their time, talents, material resources, and friendship to help us re-launch.
